WHAT THESE GRAPHS SHOW IS THE CATEGORIC AND DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT IN TRAFFIC CONGESTION FOR JUST LEEDS VILLAGE.

The rest of Maidstone has to suffer I’m afraid…….But ALL¬†Kent’s taxpayers pick up the tab for it (around ¬£75 million)

The light Blue DM is for a “Do Minimum” road strategy. The Middle IMPORTANT Brown DS4A is a “Do Something with a stand-alone Leeds/Langley Bypass” road strategy. The Green DS4B is “Do Something without a Leeds/Langley Bypass”………… IMPORTANT TO NOTE NUMBER 8 IN LEEDS VILLAGE !!!

Below is the clickable “TRAFFIC STUDY August-2016” link for the 2016 Traffic modelling study compiled for KCC by amey. When you have read it, you too will be in NO DOUBT whatsoever, like us, that a stand alone Relief Road only works for a small minority.

We say “shame on those Maidstone MP’s together with the particular MBC & KCC Councillors that still support this very expensive, taxpayer funded white elephant as a stand alone project if they are aware of this report”.

The studies also indicate that any new relief Road as a stand alone project would be OVER capacity by the time it is built !!!

The M20 then becomes severely congested, as does Heath Road from Linton Crossroads and town centre roads.
